Spring Break Open Recreation Swims/Fred Endert Pools

The Fred Endert Municipal Swimming Pool is offering extra open recreation swims during spring break, beginning March 30 - April 3, 2015.

The extra swims are offered from 3 to 6 p.m. on Monday through Thursday.

All other programs are offered as scheduled.

Monday, March 30  though Thursday, April 2nd:  3 - 6 p.m.

Friday, April 3rd: Family swim 3 - 5:30 p.m., Recreational Swim 6 to 7:45 p.m.

Saturday, April 4th: (Family Swim 2 to 4 p.m.), 6 - 7:45 p.m.

The cost of recreation swims is $4.00 for youth 7 to 17 and $4.50 for adults. 

Children under seven years or 51 inches in height are admitted free of charge, but must have an adult (18+) in the water with them at all times. Children who are 7 years old and not yet 51 inches tall must pass the swim test before they are allowed to stay un-accompanied.

Yurok Tribe Environmental Program

   
   
What: 14th Annual Kamath River Clean-up. 
   
When: Saturday, April 18th from 9:00am - 2:00pm
   
Where: Yurok Tribe main office
   
Why: Volunteers will help remove trash and invasive plants from 
  the banks of the Klamath River. Breakfast and lunch will be
  provided as well as a commemorative T-shirt and grocery
  tote.  Gloves and water will be provided and volunteers are
  advised to wear clothes and boots that can get dirty.
